Applied Technology Associates (ATA) is a precision measurement sensing and controls company providing services and products to government and commercial customers. Located in the Sandia Science and Technology Park in Albuquerque NM ATA is recognized as an industry leader in the design of rugged precision Magnetohydrodynamic angular rate sensors (MHD ARSs). Available in both commercial and space-qualified versions ATA’s angular rate sensors have proven superior on the ground in the air and in extended space flight. ATA’s Inertial Solutions portfolio includes MHD ARSs inertial measurement units inertial reference units reconfigurable test systems accelerometer packages image stabilization units and non-magnetic northfinding units such as our NorthFinder. Our Line-of-Sight Stabilization portfolio includes fast steering mirrors and optical inertial reference units. ATA’s Technical Services program portfolio includes High Energy Laser (HEL) Beam Control Tactical Imaging Systems Cryo-Cooler Testing Space Situational Awareness Decision Support Services and Guidance Navigation and Control. The ATA Systems Test and Evaluation business area focuses on Prototyping Demonstrations and Experiments and Assembly Integration and Testing (AI&T) which includes Testing and Evaluation (T&E) and Build-to-Print. ATA has a long history of designing and building an array of custom products predominantly for inertial sensing and beam control applications.
