Nowadays, Premec is a groundbreaking company offering simple but innovative stationery products thanks to its over 55 years of experience in the field, with a constant focus on typically Swiss features such as quality and precision.

In its first 20 years of activity, between the 1960s and 1980s, Premec specialised in the production of ballpoints for the writing industry, quickly becoming an absolute international leader thanks to its comprehensive range and production capacity. Combined with the manufacturing of high standard refills, it has since acquired extensive know-how of writing
systems, mastering the distinctive features and differences of each market but also of consumers.

With substantial and forward-looking investments, it has also secured additional capabilities, ranging from the production of ball for
writing instruments, to the formulation and manufacturing of premium inks, specifically for ballpoint pens, which ensure very smooth, pleasant and modern writing.

Between the 1990s and 2000s, Premec became an international group, setting up two production centres in Asia: in Malaysia and China. By applying the same production and control method set up by the Swiss parent company, today these centres have reached the same standards of efficiency and professionalism, ensuring a global logistics service.

In the last few years, Premec has developed the skills necessary to design a range of finished stationery products that meet a wide variety of requirements while respecting the environment and people's safety.
