Swisstom AG develops and manufactures innovative medical devices. Our new lung function monitor will help patients in intensive care and during general anesthesia. It allows the physicians and nurses to watch the lungs breathe. Unlike traditional tomography, Swisstom's bedside imaging is based on non-radiating principles: Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) and enables life-saving treatment. To date, no comparable devices can show such regional organ function continuously and in real-time at the patient's bedside.

Thanks to our innovative design the usability of our new EIT lung function monitor is not just comfortable for the patient, full of information for physicians and nurses, but also affordable since it can be connected to the ventilators and vital signs monitors.
